Shoot Delivery Logistics Inc. – Driver Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Shoot Delivery Logistics Inc. As a driver, you are an integral part of our operations. By filling out the onboarding form and becoming a driver for Shoot Delivery Logistics Inc., you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 21 years old.
  • You must hold a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle you are driving.
  • You must possess all necessary and current vehicle registration and insurance documentation.
  • You must have valid insurance with at least 1 million Canadian dollars in third-party liability coverage.

3. T4A Contractors

  • Drivers will be hired as T4A contractors. This means you are not an employee of Shoot Delivery Logistics Inc. but an independent contractor responsible for your own taxes and expenses.

4. Conduct and Responsibilities

  • Safe Driving: You must adhere to all local traffic laws and regulations. You are responsible for the safety of yourself, your vehicle, and the packages you are delivering.
  • Professionalism: Always conduct yourself professionally when interacting with customers and colleagues. Rudeness, unprofessional behavior, or misconduct will not be tolerated. Strict action and penalties will be imposed, and police will be involved if it is a serious offense.
  • Confidentiality: Respect the privacy and confidentiality of our customers. Do not disclose any personal or delivery information to unauthorized parties.
  • Timeliness: Ensure timely deliveries. If you encounter delays, notify Shoot Delivery Logistics Inc. and the customer as soon as possible.
  • Delivery Instructions: Follow all delivery instructions carefully. Shoot Delivery Logistics Inc. reserves the right to deduct payment where we feel the driver has not followed the delivery instructions.

5. Vehicle Requirements

  • Your vehicle must be in good working condition, clean, and meet all safety standards.
  • You are responsible for maintaining your vehicle, including any costs associated with repairs, fuel, and insurance.

6. Expenses

  • As an independent contractor, you are responsible for any expenses related to the delivery, including fuel, vehicle maintenance, and insurance costs.

7. Compensation

  • Payment terms will be outlined in your agreement with Shoot Delivery Logistics Inc. Payments are based on completed deliveries and any other factors outlined in your contract.
  • Shoot Delivery Logistics Inc. reserves the right to withhold payment if terms and conditions are violated or deliveries are not completed satisfactorily.
  • Shoot Delivery Logistics Inc. reserves the right to deduct payment where we feel the driver has not followed the delivery instructions.

8. Termination

  • Shoot Delivery Logistics Inc. reserves the right to terminate your contract at any time for violation of these terms and conditions or any misconduct.
  • You may terminate your engagement with Shoot Delivery Logistics Inc. at any time with written notice.

9. Liability

  • You are solely responsible for any fines, penalties, or legal actions arising from your driving activities.
  • Shoot Delivery Logistics Inc. is not liable for any damages or losses incurred during the delivery process unless specified otherwise in your contract.
  • By agreeing to these terms, you attest to having a valid driver’s license and valid insurance with at least 1 million Canadian dollars in third-party liability coverage.

10. Amendments

  • Shoot Delivery Logistics Inc. reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. You will be notified of any changes and continued engagement with Shoot Delivery Logistics Inc. will constitute acceptance of the amended terms.

11. Agreement

By filling out the onboarding form and becoming a driver for Shoot Delivery Logistics Inc., you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
